2010 have passed but the memories of what God has done is something worth remembering. The mission is only relying on God to supply the need and praise God for the friends of Jireh mission both local and abroad who gave sacrificially, portion of their blessing to the mission. They helped carry out the work and are behind the success of the operation. For the past year, you never leave the mission but uphold it with your prayers and financial support.
Since the operation of the mission, the staff were never been given a bonus every December but they understand the financial incapacity of the mission. However, this time because of the blessing from God, they were given P500.00 bonus each with small gift and this made them happy.
Again, the year 2011 is another challenge to face. The children in the home is one of the project that always need attention, love and care. We do not know what lies ahead but we just trust God that everything would be fine with Jireh Mission.
To all Benefactors and supporters, thank you very much for your continued prayers and financial support to it’s undertaking specially in caring the less fortunate children in the society. The children were very happy for your concerned, loved and care to them. Rest assured that every help you extend is very much appreciated and we are always counting on you.

JEANETTE LJUNGARS VISITED JIREH AGAIN
The Jireh Mission friend, Jeanette Ljungars has come again as one of the speaker and lecturer of the 15th Jireh Mission Foundation day celebration held at Jireh mission compound in October 20 – 22, 2010. In the night of October 26, 2010 before she fly back home to Finland, the children prepared a short farewell program in which she enjoyed the presentation that includes pearly shell & cariñosa dance and the giving of different flowers and native gifts to her by the children and staffs as a token of gratitude and appreciation for supporting the Jireh Home Children. After the program was a dinner with the children and staffs in the home. Happy trip to you Ms. Jeanette and God Bless You.
HOLIDAY HOPES AND CHEERS
Its Christmas season again, time to give and receive presents. The Orphans’ promise by Operation Blessing is the earliest to give Christmas gifts to the children in the home in December 10, 2010. They call it a Holiday of Hopes & Cheers. A short program was done with children’s dance number, storey telling by Kuya Josh, inspirational message by Ptr. Henry Baldonado. Art session for the children and distribution of gifts was done by the operation blessing and besides they prepared snacks for everybody and also gave their monthly toilettries supplies for the children.
CHILDREN WENT SHOPPING
In December 15,2010, the older children were brought to Davao City to do shopping of their own gifts from the donors: Dallas& Emma, Mark & Darcy & Pat and Bonnie McMurry Services. After they bought their gift from the shopping mall they were brought to the restaurant and eat. To all of you, thank you very much for making the children happy.
ANOTHER TIME WITH THE JPIC SCHOLARS
In December 18, 2010, twelve (12) JPIC scholars headed by Ma’am Lucia Josol a High school department- Head visited Jireh Home.. They brought used clothing, toys, foot wears and bags, sardines, noodles, bihon, biscuits, detergent bars, toothpaste, coffee, cream, etc. as their gift to the children. Therefore the children is saying, Thank you for remembering us this Christmas season. God Bless you all & Merry Christmas, again.
CHILDREN AT THE PARK
Though not often, because of the donors, the small children deserve a day out. A smile on their faces is evident when they were brought to “People’s park" Davao City in December 16, 2010. Everyone enjoyed picture taking, site seeing inside the park and were amazed to see many people also having fun. After that, they were brought to a restaurant and enjoyed a buffet dinner and were very full. Before going home they pass by the “Mana Davao” wherein they witness and see the very beautiful and attractive lightings.
JHC CHRISTMAS PARTY
In December 24, 2010 the Jireh Home children celebrates Christmas and received gifts from the sponsors for their party wears and food. While waiting for the Noche Buena the children enjoyed eating the food prepared for them. The party was also attended by the neighborhood with their children. To the sponsors who made the party successful, the children say, thank you very much and wish you and your whole family a Happy Christmas, Blessed and prosperous New Year. God Bless all of you.
BIRTHDAY PARTY AT THE HOME
An AB graduating student of Ateneo De Davao University, Paula Jusguan a resident of Babak IGaCoS, celebrated her birthday with the children in the home in Dec. 26, 2010. She testifies on her 19th birthday that this is the first time that she is celebrating not with her friends but for the less fortunate children. The children rendered dance and sing birthday songs to her and she shed her tears. After a short program everybody enjoyed the food that Paula prepared for everyone. May there’ll be more people like you. Happy Birthday Paula and may God will richly Bless you.
CHILDREN'S SIMPLE NEW YEAR CELEBRATION
In the night of December 31, the children enjoyed the simple party given to them while waiting for the new year to come. A large size apple given by the ACCU-LAB is also enjoyed by the children.
